Established in 1980, Marine Tours' first office began operating in Piraeus. Its fundamental business objective at that time was to operate in the realm of travel services for shipping companies located around the Piraeus harbor.

 

But the dream of its founders was the foundation of a Tourist Organization with such potential and expertise so to be able to fully cover the travelling needs of every single entity, physical or legal, in Greece and abroad with creativity and reliability. This dream became a reality with the establishment of Marine Tours S.A. and its on-going growth within the Greek and international market. The company begun its network in relation with its services thus successfully increasing its annual turnover and profits.

 

Following the geographical coverage of the greater Piraeus area, Marine Tours extended its activities with a fast pace, by opening new, self-owned offices in Athens, Thessalonica, Patras and finally in Heraclion, Crete creating a powerful network in parallel to a secondary one consisting of more than 400 cooperating travel agencies in Greece. Gradually Marine Tours became one of the major national producers of all airline carriers, gaining first-class honorary titles and at the same time becoming the first choice and a fundamental partner of the market's largest "business accounts".

 

Moreover the travel organization that has been created, reached the top of the Greek market exceeding an annual turnover of more than €80 million over the last five years. As a result of that, Marine Tours has been included by the Greek Financial Directory (ICAP) among the three largest Greek travel companies, thus continuing its ever-growing success.
